Step 1 Unwind the club grip from the top to the shaft. Make sure you also remove any tape used for the grip. With a piece of cloth and grip solvent, clean the part where the grip used to be.

Step 2 With the use of double sided tape, wind it around the shaft from the end to the point where the grip ends.

Step 3 Cover the end of the grip with a golf tee, pour an ample amount of solvent in he open end of the grip and shake it up to properly distribute the solvent within.

Step 4 Spread solvent over the taped end of the shaft too. After doing this slide the grip onto the shaft, then remove the golf tee at the end of the grip.

Step 5 Be sure that the grip is properly aligned and settled. The solvent usually takes a maximum of 10 hours to dry. Be sure to try a simple golf swing after this dries, if tried while solvent is damp may cause an awkward placement of the grip.
